
The NVIDIA Ion platform is slowly but surely making its way into mainstream consciousness, with a couple of machines from Taiwan – the ASRock and Pegatron, being spotted recently at a conference. NVIDIA has plans to make available its Ion platform in 40 products before the year is over, and these will comprise of netbooks, nettops and all-in-one PCs. Apart from the Ion platform on the two mentioned systems, very little else is known about the systems specifications, but we do know they’ll run on some variant of Intel Atom processors.
