Guess many people have already seen the runaway success that is the App Store, and they now want to emulate Apple’s success by coming up with variations of their own. Orange jumps aboard the bandwagon by rolling out the Orange Application Store which is already available for selected handsets in France, although the official release will happen before the year is over in France first, followed by the UK. This Orange Application Store will come pre-loaded on new phones and can be downloaded by existing customers. The store will feature both paid and free apps, while some of the former will come with free trials. All payments will be reflected on the user’s Orange mobile accounts.
