
Word has it that the highly anticipated Palm Pre device will be getting Palm OS emulation to keep fans of hundreds of thousands of legacy Palm OS software happy. Hmm, while this idea does sound a little bit crazy, it all falls into perspective when you consider Nintendo milking their fans for the umpteenth time with downloads of virtual software from the 1980s for the Wii of today. Hopefully this piece of news is true, and it will be interesting to see which retro Palm OS applications will still find a relevant place in today’s fast paced and efficient world of smartphones.
