Palm Pre Might Launch on May 17, June 29 Would Be A Backup Plan

Last week, Sprint has begun mobilizing its personnel to be trained in promoting and supporting the upcoming Palm Pre. fortunately for the rest of us, this creates as many more potential leak sources for information regarding the actual launch date. So far, the word on the street is that two launch window have been locked: May 17th and June 29th. Sprint has implemented a vacation-freeze around these dates, apparently preparing an early launch in May or a back-up plan in June.

Obviously, the June launch would be the last possible date, as Sprint promised to deliver it to the public in the first half of 2009 during the Palm Pre CES launch.
