We tend to take everyday devices and facilities for granted. For example, a power point is more or less a staple no matter what its form is in countries all over the world, but designer Serdar Sisman decided that something more could come out of it, resulting in his redesign that involves LED lights around the rim, a base socket that comes in a funky shape and an extension hub that boasts a retractable wire which enables you to connect another three more portals. Too bad this looks set to remain as a concept for the time being.
