
It’s widely known that Apple has been planning to design a family of exclusive chips to power its future iPhone and multi-touch handheld products, though now it seems like such chips may not materialize until sometime next year. Apple is understandably worried that knowledge about its iPhone to leave the company, which is reasonable, considering the impressive popularity of the iPhone. That being said, it sure pours cold water on any hope that the upcoming iPhone 2009 will have these new chips. From Uberphones.
