Prototype CD Turntable

Here’s a prototype CD turntable by Pete Verrando that has already been patented, never mind the fact that we don’t know whether it actually works or not. Judging by the looks of it, we’re more inclined to think that this won’t function well at all, since the reading laser normally moves along in a straight radius from center to edge, but a turntable would feature an arc. Well, if this patent were to be ever produced, you can be sure those who want something chic to decorate their homes will be lining up for one.
