
RIM has arrived at a milestone today, moving 50 million BlackBerry smartphones to date while generating an amazing $11 billion in revenue. At this point in time, RIM seems to be in solid financial footing so there’s no need to go around wondering whether they’re about to bite the dust, considering they currently have a total of $2.24 billion in cash, cash equivalents, short-term investments and long-term investments at press time.
