Mac users will be pleased to know that Rokland’s latest generation of wireless USB 2.0 adapters known as the RokN generation 2 will be shipping soon. This 802.11n draft 2.0 device will play nice with Mac computers, and also works with Windows and Linux platforms as well. The new adapter is able to hit up to 300MB/s in theory, which is a huge jump compared to 802.11g connections, while offering security in the form of standard 64/128-bit WEP, WPA/WPA2 & WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK and Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) setups. You’ll need to have Mac OS X 10.3 or later running on your computer first though. You can pick up the RokN generation 2 for $35 a pop.
