
The NES controller means many things to different people, as an entire generation grew up with a steady diet of 8-bit games, leading them to fall in love with video games throughout subsequent console generations. It makes perfect sense to love the iconic NES controller then, as Taylor Merrill decided to rip out the innards of this retro video gaming peripheral and replace it with the insides of a Samsung a867 Eternity. Naturally, the Eternity is able to handle games which are much more advanced than what the NES could offer back in its day. Of course, you’ll need a fair degree of technical know how if you’re going to embark on such a project.
