Samsung Works On RGB LED Notebook Panel

Samsung Electronics is currently working hard on releasing a new 15.6″ RGB LED-backlit notebook panel sometime in the second half of this year, catering specifically for high-end ultra-thin notebooks. That’s what market sources say anyways, and we look forward to what Samsung has to offer with these new super slim panels – does that mean the era of large footprint notebooks being lightweight will be ushered in then? Samsung decided that RGB LED offers better color saturation, although it will probably add a rather hefty amount to the final sticker price due to the cost.
