Department store Selfridges decided to indulge a little when celebrating its centennial year in existence by commissioning 10 exclusive, limited edition BlackBerry smartphones from RIM that are individually numbered from one to ten, retailing at their flagship London store at a cool £1,000 a pop, data plan notwithstanding. These BlackBerry Bolds were redesigned with a leather back-plate in the iconic Selfridges Pantone 109 yellow color, along with different-looking number keys on the device’s face. If you’re one of the proud new owners, each handset will be accompanied by VIP support in order to rub you the right way.
