Sony is up and about with a couple of new projectors that hail from the M and D series for the masses, targeting frequent business travelers who want a lightweight tool. These models will feature the latest 3LCD display technology in addition to native XGA resolution. The M series VPL-Mx25 will come with 2,500 ANSI lumens, 650:1 contrast ratio, USB connectivity and Wi-Fi support, while the D series will have three models under that umbrella – the VPL-DX10, the VPL-DX11 and the VPL-DX15 which will retail for $1,880, $2,030 and $2,460, respectively, when they arrive later this June. All three of them come with functional specifications that should not disappoint the power business user without bogging them down as though they were toting around an extra ton of luggage on their travels.
