Sony hopes to further revive its fortunes with the PSP by filing a patent that enables the handheld console to function as a remote control for a car. This will require one to add on a camera to feed video to the PSP, where users can subsequently upload footage to a website (we’re thinking there’ll be plenty of lewd stuff going around with this if it were to be implemented) to be viewed by others. In addition, the patent also did let out whispers of an augmented reality racing game, where real objects will function as elements in the racing game, so you can just use already existing material to come up with your very own race track. Sounds like a plausible idea to us.
