TomTom just announced their XL 340 GPS. It’s a 4.3″ GPS that features both IQ routes and Advanced Line guidance. IQ Routes, which is based on real-world data from anonymous volunteers, computes routes according to real traffic patterns and not theoretical speed limits. Advanced Line Guidance shows you more details about lanes and upcoming turns, which can come in handy on a 6-way highway. We hope that TomTom improved the map refresh speed too. The TomTom XL 340 costs $230.
