What are some of the characteristics one will think about when it comes to netbooks? Apart from the relatively small display size and the all-conquering Intel Atom processor, most netbooks will also come with a standard 1GB RAM and 160GB hard drive without burning too big a hole in one’s pockets. Toshiba pushes the envelope with their Dynabook UX netbook which comes with the following :-
- 10.1″ display at 1,024 x 600 resolution with LED backlight
- Intel Atom N280 1.6GHz processor
- Intel 945GSE Express chipset
- 160GB hard drive
Amazingly enough with just two colors to choose from, Toshiba thinks that people will snap this up like hot cakes after slapping a €544 price tag to the entire thing. How much are you willing to part for a Windows XP-powered netbook at best?
