Second chances don’t really come by often, but when it does, one ought to do their best to grab it with both hands and not let go. That must be what the suits at Verizon Wireless are thinking as they’re currently in discussions with Apple to release their own version of the iPhone sometime next year. Apart from the 2010 target release window, very little else is known about it. We think that it will be a CDMA device that will function on Verizon’s current network, hence working via EV-DO to access the Internet on-the-go. It would be interesting to see whether this would mean a third generation iPhone, or will it be the same old iPhone 3G that is still going strong?
