Verizon Wireless has made available the Samsung Trance yesterday, where this music-centric handset will retail for a mere $49.99 a pop complete with a 2-year agreement, and audiophiles might want to check out whether the Bang & Olufsen ICEpower amp technology works as advertised. The Samsung Trance will offer support for Rhapsody sync, but bear in mind this is not a 3G-capable handset so you won’t be able to download your favorite tunes over-the-air. Other features include a measly 1.3 megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot, where you can choose from an all black or red with black accents model.
