Vinyl Simulation On iPhone

Theo Watson has programmed a new iPhone app that simulates old school vinyl spinning simply by spinning one’s handset. The app will take advantage of the accelerometer found within the iPhone/iPod touch, where you will then be able to spin it to control the speed of the virtual vinyl record as shown on the screen. We would recommend doing so on a smooth surface if you want to minimize the amount of scratches to your iPod touch’s/iPhone’s exterior.
