Microsoft will be rolling out the highly anticipated Windows Mobile 6.5 when May 11 comes around, which is incidentally the opening day of Microsoft’s TechEd 2009 Conference. The official announcement might be made then, but that doesn’t mean device manufacturers will automatically flood the market with Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM updates on that day itself, as the exercise might even take a few months for it to happen. Rest assured, devices pre-loaded with OS 6.5 will still arrive this fall if you want to snag something new instead of upgrading the old. Hopefully Windows Mobile 6.5 will be much more user friendly compared to its predecessor!
