
Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEV) are not the sexiest car on the planet with their 35 mph maximum speed but with the recent memory of skyrocketing oil prices and the current economic turmoil, more people are interested in alternative energies to fuel their car. ZENN, one of the top NEV manufacturers is announcing that is has cut the price of its 2009 electric car to $9,995 via a $4,750 rebate and a $1,250 federal tax credit, which is $2000 less than competitor ZAP.
