Zero Motorcycles’ latest street legal electric bike is the Zero S – capable of pumping out 31 horsepower and 62.5lb ft of torque, achieving a maximum speed of 60mph in the process. Sounds more than decent to our ears, as the Zero S will succeed its predecessor, the Zero X dirt bike that came with a smaller, 20 horsepower engine and was not street legal to boot. This clutchless, one-speed bike comes with a battery that allows you to roam for 60 miles, taking up to 4 hours for a full charge. We don’t suppose you’ll use this for cross-country purposes but use it within the city to run errands instead. Other features include a digital speedometer and a “projector beam” headlight. Expect to fork out $10,000 for the Zero S as it ships this May.
