3D Realms Calls It Quits

Guess Duke Nukem Forever will never be released on this part of our lifetimes considering 3D Realms (formerly known as Apogee Software) has shut down. Most definitely the shutting down of this company will have a negative impact on the prolonged development of Duke Nukem Forever, ever since the game was announced way back in 1997. What are they waiting for anyways – it has been 12 years already, so the fact that the game might never be released shouldn’t be too big a blow to us hardcore gamers. At the very least we do know that the Duke Nukem Trilogy platformer for both DS and PSP platforms are still under development.
