
Folks in the US who have been looking forward to the new batch of Android-powered smartphones from Acer will be disappointed to know that none of them will make their way Stateside this year, with 2010 being the earliest release date. No official reason has been given for the delay, although the head of Acer’s smart phone division, Aymar de Lencquesaing, did mention in passing that he, like many other people, was hoping to release these smartphones before Christmas. Guess problems with US carriers has led to a prolonged release date, making them miss the crucial holiday season.
