
Remember the Palm Foleo? It was basically a Linux-powered device via WIFI or use a mobile phone as a tethering modem. Anyway, an analyst from Global Equities Research thinks that Palm may resurrect the Foleo to make a $399 Netbook/MID out of it, but this time Palm would integrate a cellular wireless capability on board, using Qualcomm’s GOBI chip that works with pretty much all carriers.
For one, Palm has not said that it was working on such a project, but even if it did, we don’t really see the value that it brings at that price range. [via Barron]
