Archos Could Launch MID This June 11

Word on the street has it that Archos could be working on the unveiling of its latest MID (Mobile Internet Device) that will be Android-powered sometime next month, with June 11 as the designated date. After all, Archos did announce back in February that they were working on a new Internet Media Tablet that came with a wide range of connectivity options including Wi-Fi, 3G, HSDPA and HSUPA, supported by a 5″ display with HD resolution compatibility, all crammed into a chassis that is no thicker than a mere 1cm. Guess we’ll just have to wait until June 11 to find out whether rumor has turned to fact. In the meantime, do enjoy the photo gallery.

Archos: Archos is a French consumer electronics company that manufactures tablets, eReaders, MP3 players, media players, and notebooks.
