Asus Dual Hybrid TV Card Now Out

Asus has unveiled its latest dual hybrid TV card – the My Cinema-EHD3-100/NAQ/FM/AV/MCE RC PCI-express Dual TV card that targets folks who want to watch and record digital (ATSC/QAM) and analog (NTSC) TV channels simultaneously without cranking up a notch or two on their processor. After all, the Asus My Cinema-EHD3-100/NAQ/FM/AV/MCE RC is well equipped with an embedded MPEG2 hardware encoder which will lift a sizeable burden off the processor’s load without compromising on video quality. The PCI Express x1 interface ensures transmission speeds of up to 500MB/s, which is nearly triple that of a conventional PCI bus. Other features include FM radio playback support. Each purchase will be accompanied by a Microsoft certified Media Center remote control for easy navigation from afar. Time to consider this if you’r ethinking of turning your PC into a smart multimedia center, eh?
