Asus Eee PC 1002HAE

We wonder when will be the day Asus runs out of Eee PC variants to release to the masses, as we have yet another model announced today – the Eee PC 1002HAE that made its appearance on the Eee PC Japanese site. Bear in mind this is not the recently released Eee PC 1000HA, altough it will share similar specifications. The main difference would be the elegant aluminum skin on the outside as well as a beefier Intel Atom N280 1.6GHz processor within. Expect the standard specifications to apply here including a 10″ LED backlit display, 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi connectivity and 1GB RAM. It will be available in Japan sometime this May 16th for approximately $506 with no word on an international release.
