The Eee PC Seashell was just launched recently, and someone has already taken time out to hack it so that touchscreen capability has been endowed within. The Seashell did not undergo a major overhaul, as they took a less invasive route of installing a SISO Tablo device that creates a virtual touchscreen by using a sensor that sits atop the display, and a special pen is used to interact with the screen. Not exactly as efficient as an integrated solution, but it sure beats voiding the warranty by opening up your precious new Seashell. If you want a legit Eee PC with touchscreen capability, we would recommend you turn to the Eee PC T91 that has yet to be released Stateside as that model comes in a tablet format.
