Asus has a new K40IN-A1 K Series notebook in the US where it will feature the following :-
- 14″ LED backlit display
- Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2GHz processor
- GeForce G102M 512MB video card
- 4GB RAM
- 320GB hard drive
- DVD burner
You won’t be able to watch full HD movies on this since it comes with a 1,366 × 768 resolution, albeit in a cinema-friendly 16:9 aspect ratio. Other connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, a quartet of USB 2.0 ports, an SD/MMC/MS media card reader and a VGA output. You get up to 5 hours of claimed computing time with a 6-cell battery, but we’re not sure whether that includes having the options turned on or off. The Asus K40IN-A1 can be found online for $849.99.
