Asus looks set to expand their Eee Box line with the EB1002 and EB1006 models, at least that’s what NotebookItalia reports. The former will be equipped with an integrated graphics processor while the latter targets more hardcore users with a dedicated graphics chip within. The Asus Eee Box EB1002 is perfect for those looking for an entry-level device, where it will supplant the outgoing B202 Eee Box, powered by an Intel Atom 1.66GHz processor, 2GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive. As for the flagship Asus Eee Box EB1006, this model looks set to share the RAM and processor found on the EB1002, although it is tipped to come with a 128MB vdedicated graphics chipset. 128MB? Come on Asus, you could certainly do better than that – after all, this is 2009 and not 2004.
