Asus To Release an 11.6″ Eee This Month

After saying that the 10″ Eee will account for a huge chunk of its sales in 2009, Asus is planning to release an 11.6″ Eee netbook to counter the arrival of the Acer’s slick Aspire One 751. This upcoming 11.6″ Eee is an ultra-thin model, but we don’t yet know if Asus will continue using Atom or if it will switch to Intel’s consumer ultra-low voltage (CULV) series of low-cost processors. We suspect that it will look like the Eee 1008HA, but that’s just us.
