Asus To Release Home Media Player

Word has it that Asus will be releasing a new media player at Computex which will feature an unknown Realtek chip within, and sources have paraded eSATA storage connectivity as well as network streaming support as other possible features thrown in for good measure. 1080p playback as well as 24p output, DTS decoding to LPCM over HDMI are also widely touted, and with a recommended retail price of just €119, the competition in the media player market ought to sit up, take notice and do something about their fares as well.
