AT&T has unveiled the Samsung a167 smartphone that will run on Windows Mobile, albeit being an extremely basic handset at that. Well, this is part of the reason why AT&T will categorize it under the GoPhone family, allowing you to pay-as-you-go. Features of the Samsung a167 include :-
- Dual-band GSM/GPRS connectivity (850/1900 MHz)
- 128 x 160 internal CSTN display
- Web browser
- 2MB internal memory
- VGA camera
It is dirt cheap, too, at $69.99 a pop sans contract agreement.
