With TVs going High Definition (HD) these days, CoPilot doesn’t want to miss the bandwagon by bringing HD to the masses on their portable navigation devices with the HD version of ALK’s GPS navigation software for cell phones. This version apparently looks stunning on your Windows Mobile smartphone if it is equipped with a WVGA display, where the higher resolution translates to more crisp graphics as well as text that is easier on the eyes. CoPilot Live 7 HD also enables you to use software in landscape mode, and by being connected both ways, you can even send your location information online while receiving POIs from friends. Sounds like a bargain at £65, especially when it can alert you of speed cameras as you whizz down the freeway to save you a handsome amount in the process.
