GPS-enabled Helmet

NEC and Tanizawa of Japan have come up with their latest joint-venture in the form of a GPS-equipped helmet complete with a camera and headset, where you will be able to communicate with other security or corporate personnel over a 3G cellular network or LAN. This waterproof unit has a front that can be removed so that the wearer is able to modify its settings or affix the attachment to another helmet. No idea on either pricing or availability, but folks who want their own wireless system for guards can always check it out.
