AT&T hasn’t let out too much concerning its range of Android-powered handsets, but the carrier does have plans to make a notable splash in the game. The HTC Lancaster is a QWERTY slider handset that will come with triband EDGE and 850/1900MHz HSPA, AGPS support, a 3 megapixel fixed-focus camera, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, a microSD memory card slot as well as something known as a “unique HTC social messaging user interface” – no idea what that is. The HTC Lancaster will be exclusive to AT&T for a full half year, and ought to hit the market this August 3rd.
