Iomega has endowed its eGo line of portable hard drives with yet another few models, where the 250GB and 500GB versions will retail for $85 and $135. Guess storage space is getting cheaper and cheaper these days (and this has been the trend for quite some time already), so hopefully flash memory will take over in larger quantities and capacities so that we don’t have to deal with stuff like drive heads digging into the platter and nasty shocks to the computer while traveling which could compromise data. Each of these new Iomega eGo drives will be powered by a solitary USB port and comes in red, silver, blue and black colors.
