On Tuesday, we told you that the rumor about a 2x speed bump in CPU frequency for the iPhone was fishy. It looks like we were right: the word on the street this morning mentions a 50% boost, which is still appreciable, but much more realistic.
On another note, T-mobile (Austria) has briefly posted the iPhone 32GB on their website, so that confirms the storage detail previously discussed.
There are still dark spots on the specs list, things like RAM (2x) and battery life (1.5x) are said to get a significant bump as well. The presence (or not) of an AMOLED/OLED display remains the biggest mystery of all. [via daring fireball]
