Labels Now Available In Gmail For Mobile

Those who can’t live without Gmail and have an unhealthy obsession with email on their cell phones no matter where they go will definitely rejoice at news of labels being incorporated into the latest version ofGmail for mobile for iPhone and Android-powered devices. Apart from a complete overhaul of the web application’s underlying code, this new version will also make room for color-coded tags to manage your inbox. Labeling an email is as simple as selecting a message, tapping ‘Label as…” from the drop-down menu on the Floaty Bar, followed by choosing the label(s) you desire in the pop-up menu right after that. You won’t be able to create, rename or delete labels when you’re mobile though, as that only works in the desktop version.
