Lenovo OPhone O1 In Action

While the world is gearing up to give the Palm Pre and new iPhone a warm welcome, let us not forget that Lenovo has their OPhone O1 as well that will be powered by Lenovo’s own Android-customized OMS (Open Mobile System) mobile OS. While this is in some ways an iPhone clone of sorts, it still boasts some pretty unique hardware. Strangely enough, Lenovo will introduce it in two versions – a 3G model with a 5-megapixel camera while the EDGE model will have a lesser 3.2-megapixel camera. Interested parties can pick up the Lenovo OPhone O1 exclusively from China Mobile.

Android: Android is the mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets. Lenovo: Lenovo Group Limited, commonly known as Lenovo, is a Chinese consumer electronics company that is based in Morrisville, North Carolina.
