Word has it that Lenovo is currently developing a newer version of their IdeaPad S10 netbook, and it will be predicably known as the S10-2. Not very creative, but we suppose that is because it isn’t official just yet. What will the S10-2 hold advantageous over the regular S10? for starters, it is tipped to come with an integrated 3G modem, alongside the following specifications :-
- 8GB to 32GB SSD options
- 3G support/SIM card behind battery
- Wireless switch
- Three USB 2.0 ports
- Shrunken arrow keys
- Larger trackpad
- Double access bays to hard drive, RAM and Wi-Fi
The S10-2 will also experience a redesign with rounded edges and the use of a different hinge. In addition, the faithful (and handy) ExpressCard/34 slot has been removed, while some of the ports, buttons and LEDs have been rearranged to accommodate the new design.
