LG’s famous GD900 Crystal phone is ready to make its debut in over 40 countries around Europe, Asia and Latin America, although it will miss the initial May dateline. Well, better late than never, but as with the case of consumer electronics, being too late might end up working against you. There isn’t much else to say about this handset apart from its gorgeous looks, and whispers are going around that it will cost around €450 thereabouts, placing it in the high-end market. At that price, you can expect a 3″ WVGA touchscreen display, a built-in accelerometer, an 8-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, HSDPA support, TV out and 1.5GB of internal memory, crammed into a case measuring just 13.5mm thin.
