Panasonic Leads Mobile Phone Gaming In Japan

While the iPhone might be the handset of choice when it comes to beautiful in-game graphics on the cell phone front in most parts of the world, they still can’t hold a candle to what Panasonic offers in Japan. Remember the 18 handset announcement yesterday? Well, one of those phone-tastic models is a Panasonic handset that offers graphics which are equal to those found on a PSP (which automatically ranks it better looking than DS or PSOne games), featuring scintillating titles such as Ridge Racer, Gundam and Professor Layton. Makes us take a gander at the offerings available for mobile gaming outside of Japan, realizing that we’ve been eating subjected to some half-baked mobile gaming attempts while the Japanese enjoy bona fide portable gaming titles.
