Razer is no stranger when it comes to the world of gaming peripherals, and today they are off the blocks with yet another feather to add to their burgeoning cap – the Razer Sphex. What makes this special is its claim to fame – by being the first gaming grade desktop skin in an ultra thin form factor. It is currently the undisputable thinnest gaming-grade mousing surface, specially designed to perform at the highest precision levels (and best used with Razer mice, although they won’t let you in that you can also play with Microsoft and Logitech offerings) regardless of whether you’re going optical or laser. Using high-grade durable material, the Razer Sphex can be wiped clean or washed repeatedly without having its mousing surface compromised. You can pick up this 320mm x 230mm pad for $15, although we’re wondering how this measures up against the classic 3M mousing surface.
