Samsung 70 Series LCD Monitors

Samsung has rolled out their newest desktop LCD monitors under the guise of the 70 Series which comprises of the P2070, P2370, and P2370HD LCD displays. These three monitors will feature a slim profile, where the P2070 and P2370 come with a screen depth of 30mm while the P2370HD stands at 65.5mm, alongside Samsung’s Touch of Color (ToC) design. What makes the 70 Series so interesting is the inclusion of Starlight Touch Controls that will see the On Screen Display buttons integrated directly into the bezel, making it feel as though you were manipulating touch controls. Shared specifications among all three include :-

  • 50,000:1 contrast ratio
  • 1,920 x 1,080 resolution (P2070 has a resolution of 1,600 x 900)
  • 2 ms (GTG) video response time (5 ms for the P2370HD)
  • Reduced power consumption
  • Touch of Color design
  • VOC-free Crystal-like bezel frame for reduced glare
  • Starlight Touch Controls
  • Built-in 1080p digital HDTV tuner

There is no word on pricing for all models at press time.
