Samsung’s latest full HD plasma display, the 850 PAVV is a 50″ behemoth that measures a super slim 29mm. In addition, it is 40% more power efficient compared to previous generations of Samsung plasma displays, tipping the scales at a mere 26kg. Features include Samsung’s Full HD Crystal Engine, DLNA support, USB 2.0 connectivity and DivX video support among others. It supports direct media playback from a plugged in USB flash drive, and Samsung is also currently preparing a 58″ version just in case 50″ of viewing real estate is not good enough for you. No idea on its pricing though.
