This summer will be an interesting one, as Samsung will be offering the S5050 handset that will ditch TFT for AMOLED technology, offering users who opt for this low-to-mid range slider a beauty of a screen with vivid colors to boot. You will find quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity (no 3G unfortunately), Bluetooth 2.0 support, an integrated FM radio with RDS, a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, audio and video playback, 40MB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot. Expect to see the Samsung S5050 arrive at store shelves later this summer, retailing for approximately $235 a pop.
