Sanyo Japan has just launched the Sanyo Waterproof Xacti DMX-WH1E to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the camera. While it is being handled by a lovely lady, that doesn’t mean it comes with all the bells and whistles that most people are looking for. It lacks the ability to record video in full High Definition, but it does offer H.264 720/30p video recording – even when you go underwater. Other features include an 11-megapixel sensor, 43MB of internal memory that thankfully can be augmented by SDHC memory cards, a 2.5″ LCD display and Wi-Fi connectivity for wireless transfer of data.
