Sharp could be on to the next big thing here with their integrated Solar Module that can juice up your handset wherever you go. This module is also known as the LR0GC02, and was recently made available for the global market. Guess this means we don’t have to worry too much about running out of juice on your handsets while being in the middle of a conversation, and folks relying on push email on their devices need not charge up their phone at every opportunity. Chances are most handsets that employ the LR0GC02 Solar Module for Mobile Devices in their chassis pretty soon, although we’d much rather wait until this feature became mainstream before jumping aboard the bandwagon. Don’t worry about the phone looking bulky as the Solar Module measures a mere 0.8mm thin – the thinnest in the industry.
